From one witch to another, thank you for this beautiful spell I’d forgotten was in my grimoire. Challenge accepted. Let the kindness commence! 💜✨🌈

What I love about reading your newsletter, Jen, is that it never fails to have at least one practical suggestion. The magic of kindness? Brilliant! I have found that even the smallest acts of kindness can have huge impacts--even if we aren't personally present to witness them. I'm in with you!

Thanks Cathy. I’m finding the extra benefit is it slows me down and gets me out of my head. When I become aware I’m caught in the toxic sludge I can’t stay there now!

I love this perspective, Jen! It’s easy to underestimate what a big difference the little things we do make to other people. Making that kind of an impact is so special, for them and for ourselves. Thank you!

Thanks, Jen. I spent time crying in the grocery store parking lot yesterday. It is all so much... I appreciate you.

THIS! It’s the only way we take back our country. Not just the alchemy of turning outrage into kindness but also TURN OFF YOUR TV (radio, fb. “News” station) REFUSE TO LET OTHERS TELL YOU WHAT IS REAL. There are so many of us (privileged) leading almost charmed lives that could be using our energy to CREATE reality right in their own neighborhoods. What is real is right in front of you. That news story is one point in time, one person, one place, It doesn’t tell the TRUTH about how Americans are or how liberals are or how T$&@p supporters are. The truth of the world is in the day to day interactions with the people in your life. And again, I am mainly speaking to privliged people like myself, middle age financially comfortable white women.

I smile at every baby I see. And I say hello to every check out person in the grocery store. I feel like I might be turning into my mother. And smiling at babies and chatting with store staff does make me feel more hopeful. ❤️

Oh, dearest One Jen.

Thank you, thank you.

I don't recall how I subscribed to your list, though I'm exceedingly grateful to be on board. Your writings I take time to read align with pieces and parts of my Self.

Bless you, your writing, reading, Netflix and all you live into.

You're most welcome, Jennifer.

I'm glad my words landed well in your heart.

Born highly sensitive with a crazy childhood where we ate dinner with Chet Huntley and David Brinkley at 6:30 p.m. each night, I've long avoided much attention to politics, news or talking heads.

I honor you and your journey in all its iterations.

Yes, thank you! Joy and kindness are resistance. It all cannot steal our dignity and humanity.

If anyone is looking for company, a friend / colleague and I are gathering practitioners from different spiritual traditions (or no particular tradition) to meet the moment with the opposite of the dynamics we see playing out. All are welcome. Info here: https://www.ompreneur.com/interfaith-practice-prayer/

Thank you Jennifer. I inhaled every word. And I am really trying. I do not hate, but I am angry and that will not go away. And I am also practicing kindness. 🍀🍀
